Treading lightly, Laura works with the elements at each location to showcase her subjects from a place of honesty and respect. The interaction between Laura, her camera, and the moments she wanders quietly into are as gentle and intimate as her treatment of the natural landscape.
A cloudy day and delicate hand are all Laura needs to diffuse enough light to create her signature white backgrounds and botanical style. Her work is inspired by the raw, yet fragile beauty of the Australian bush, and the incredible resilience of the native species that survive our challenging Australian climate.
